Week 8 was study days.

Week 9 - midterm: Are you looking for the notes?  You should know the material by now.  See you in class!

October 29 homework:

Today in class you will read each others’ draft papers and grade them.

1.      Find your partner as listed below and read his paper.  (choose another partner if yours is absent)

2.      Fill out the grading form and calculate the final grade.

3.      Return the draft and grading form to the author.

4.      Work on the word search in class if you have time.

Due November 5 - NO EXCEPTIONS!

1.      Your revised paper (2 bonus points for a typed paper).

2.      The original draft.

3.      The grading form.

4.      Your original outline.

5.      The word search.

I will grade your revised paper on whether you made the changes suggested by me in your outline and your partner on the grading form. 

I will also grade your partner on how well he graded your first draft!  If he gives you points for items you did not include, he will lose points!
